((Okay, this is going to be a one x one with Hay, so whenever she's ready we shall start it. Feel free to read it, I really do not care, and I suspect that Hay does not either. Here is the plot (really just an overall plot that we made up in a few minutes)))
Gabriel Deitrich's best friend from was brutally murdered right in front of his eyes. Thing is, it was all Gabriel's fault. Gabriel is an assassin, and has been since he was 16. He actually has been training to be one all his life.
When his work life mingles with his life there are dire consequences.
Gabe's best friend (unnamed at the moment) makes him (Gabe) promise that he will watch over his younger sister, Arabella. Gabriel makes a solemn vow to his dying friend that no matter what, he will protect her. After all, it is his fault that Arabella's brother died.
It's all Gabe can do to protect her, and it seems like both his jobs are just getting harder and harder.
((What do you think Hay? Work?))

((Okay, now that we are over the frantic findings of my character *smiles innocently* we can start the roleplay.))
Arabella sat in the grass, staring at the grave. It is the billionth time she has been the past few weeks, but she just can't seem to stay way. As she plays with the flowers around the grave, she whispers softly to her dead brother, a tear escaping down her face. "You said you would always be here for me. What am I to do now?"
Arabella still can't get over the fact that Carter is gone, never to return. She hasn't talked to anyone for days. That is with the exception of her new 'protector.' He just won't give up and leave me alone, will he?
The wind blows her hair around her face, hiding it as the tears escape even faster. The clouds are threatening to rain, but she doesn't get up or even move. She just sits there, wishing for him to come back.

((Yeah, who waited until last minute? Lol just giving ya a hard time.))
Gabriel stands a few feet away from Arabella, trying to give her some space. Really, he would much rather being doing something other than having to face emotional stuff. As Carter liked to point out, anything that deals with crying is no where near Gabriel's expertise. The wind pushed around him, blowing his trench coat around. His eyes darted about checking once again for any possible enemies.
His eyes went back to Arabella's back. The poor thing was still in shock. Gabriel shook his head, Carter was wrong to ask Angel to protect his sister. Sure Gabriel could protect her body and keep her safe from harm, but there really wasn't much he could do about the emotional hurt she must be going through.
Once again his eyes dart about until they spy the clouds. He cleared his throat. "Arabella? It's gonna rain soon, it would be best if we headed home."

Arabella could hear Gabriels voice and what he was saying, it just wasn't registering in her mind. Go home. It's gonna rain. Home. They say home is where the heart is, but what if your heart is gone? What if someone took it when they died? Where does that leave you?
She slowly stands up, the tears still rolling down her face. Turning around, she passes Gabriel and heads toward the car, biting her lip along the way. Arabella didn't want to leave. She would rather stay there, in the rain. At least it would cover her tears.
Arabella watched Gabriel as he got into the car. When he sat down she looked out the window and watched the grave as they pulled away from the cemetary.

Gabriel stared straight at the road. What do you say to a girl that has just lost all she really ever had? Problem is that Gabriel did not know that answer himself. Arabella and himself had only shared a few words a day, the bare minimum to get by. Really, he was worried.
Arabella no where near resembles the girl that Carter had introduced him to years ago. Back then she was a happy and carefree girl, living her life happily with her only surviving nuclear relative. One that had protected and cared for her. A slot that Gabriel knew he could never fill.
He ran a hand through his hair as the first few drops of rain hit the windshield of the car. He looked over at Arabella. "Would you like to stop somewhere to eat?" He knew the answer, but he still asked.

(( I'm listening to 'My Immortal' by evanescence and it kinda reminds me of this )) Rain started to pour, the streaks on the window resembling Arabella's face. Lightening started to fill the sky, the thundering cracking not soon after. Her stomach started to growl a little, but she didn't really want to go anywhere. "Would you like to stop somewhere to eat?" Arabella looked at Gabriel, just to see him looking right back at her. Quickly, she looked away and watched the storm out her window. Her stomach growled again and she knew that she probably needed to eat. Looking forward, Arabella saw that they were close to a few resteraunts. "I wouldn't mind some ice cream if thats okay?"

Gabriel nodded, imagine that, she want's ice cream.
"Okay, hold on and I'll go to the Dairy Queen that is up ahead." He glanced at her for a moment, for a split second he wondered what she would do if she knew the Truth.
The truth that her brother did not actually die in a car wreck, but was killed at the hands of a man.... right in front of his own eyes. Or even worse that it was in fact Gabriel's fault. His professional life had mixed into his personal life drastically. The man he was supposed to kill ended up killing his friend, and worse Gabriel did not get the job done. Meaning he now wanted revenge against the man that killed his only friend, and worse did this to Arabella.
Not that he loved her or anything, but he could not see the fairness in what happened to her. Nothing could fix it, and nothing could fix his guilt. Not even what he is doing now, protecting Arabella will fix it.
((It does...))

Arabella spotted the Dairy Queen up ahead. Some memories were brought back of Carter and her always having ice cream eating contests. She shook the memories away, not really wanting to cry anymore. "Just go through the drive-thu. I don't really want to go it."
Gabriel pulled the car up to the drive through. Arabella looked at the selection of ice cream. "I just want a hot-fudge sudae," she said, but she still wanted something more. "Get me an order of fries, too. Please."
Fries. They sounded good right now. She'll have something salty and sweet.

Gabriel smiled and nodded. Rolling down his window he leaned a little to get closer to the speaker. "Can I please have a hot-fudge sundae and some fries?" The little box spoke the total and Gabriel went on through the drive-thru and soon the food was in the car being handed to Arabella.
Gabriel looked at her for a moment. "Anything else? I don't mind stopping somewhere else if you'd like." He wasn't sure what to say. He was planning on just throwing some leftovers into the microwave when they got home. Arabella would just go off to her room like always.
Some things would change, and he hoped that it would be sooner rather than later.
((Hello also reminds me of this.))

((I'm listening to that now too!))
Arabella grabbed the food and looked at Gabriel. "You don't want to get anything? You're always eating left overs."
It wasn't that Arabella hated Gabriel. It was just that Carter put him as her 'protector.' What would she really need a protector for? It's not like someone was going to kill her. All he did was die from a car wreck. Although, she did wonder about what happened since she never really got details of the situation.
Again, Arabella started biting at her lip. The habit had grown since Carter died. He never really liked it when she did it, but she couldn't help it.

Gabriel looked at Arabella for a moment, he really didn't think that she had noticed his habit. He shook his head, "I'm fine. Maybe tomorrow we can go somewhere else to eat." He didn't say what else he was thinking. That tomorrow would probably be spent the same way today was. At the graveyard at Carter's grave.
It's not that he hated time spent there, it was just that he worried about Arabella. Sure he could guard her body, but surely going back to Carter's grave daily was unhealthy for her mind.
