"I should be working... Agana will get angry at me if I don't.", Erin said, climbing up ont of the cave side walls with his little claws (the walls down there were just the regular underground dirt.). He climbed a little above Wen's head to reach a large mechanical device on the celing. "It's supposed to be some kind of camera... This one is malfunctioning for some reason.. and they want me to fix it...", he said, ans he popped off the lid, and pulled a strange looking tool from his bag, " This is what they make me do... Their technology is weird.. but I can fix it... I'm good at fixing things... Sort of runs in the family.", he continued, pulling out an interesting mass of wires and lights. "Megs have some kind of addiction to lights it seems... almost everything they build is covered in them....", he giggled.

((I just imagined him climbing the walls... *giggle*)) A meganus passed by, pulling behind him a small kamen. The kamen struggled, but couldn't free himself. Down the corridor they went, to the elevator, and would soon be in the areana. Wen gulped and looked away from the prisoner. "Yeah, they do," she answered Erin. ((I'm guessing they have a sort of elevator, advanced as they are))

((nope. Erin is not in the cell anyway. Wen wasnt really supposed to be there. Tzanif did his spy-stuff and got out on his own. All otehrs are still inside and havent yet noticed Tzanif leave.))
"What I don't get is how we let that happen... we are in greater number here than the Megs... And they are leaving their surveilance in my hands.. at least here...", he said, looking towards the elevator, "Do they really underestimate us that much?"
You need to remember that Erin was a noble. But still... he was only a kid. He didn't understand the politics yet, nor did he know anything of battle tactics. All the young kamen had for real, was his iron will. And it kept him going, even in this terrible place. He felt the resposability of being, what he thought, The last remaining Aedros heir. His brother was not dead however, and was already on his way to find him, acompanied by Dohi.
((How I'm going to explain that bit in the comic.. I havent decided yet... it may come up.))

Erin finished messing with the "camera", and hooked it back up. "Ive got to go back to Agana's room... Or I'll get floged.", he said thoughtfully, "She's actually the owner of the arena... which means I wont be going anywhere else. Hopefully, my parents can find me... Or I can get out.", he said. Already, his mind was thinking as it had since he was brought there. He needed to get back, but he didnt know how.

Soon, Tzanif could hear them. The Meganus's cheers. The beast's roar... the gladiator's desperate cry. Furrowing his brow, Tzanif plunged on. He was determined to find a way out along with the rest of his fellow captives. If he were found, however, it would mean a fate worse than death. Everyoen else was counting on this one fleeting moment! He couldn't possibly go back without some decent knowledge. Then he felt it - the warmth of the sun! Scooting close to the wall, Tzanif flattened himself as much as he could against the hard prison. The Archway to the arena - the outside - was close now. He only had a few more steps before he would, possibly, be completely exposed. Which part of the arena did this door lead to? The voices were roaring now; a reverberating cacophony without end. He had no fear of being overheard now, but if he were seen...

Erin walked quickly down the corridor, and up some steps untill he reached the groud floor. The cheering of the creatures in the stands could be hard already. 2 doors were at the end of the hall, and holding an ear up to one of them, was the kamen in red! Erin looked both ways, and back down the hall. He scooted to the side, where he hid behind one of the many supports along the walls. He peeked around the edge.

Wen had nothing better to do, so she followed her new little friend. She ran after Erin and stopped just in time before running into him! Wen, however, was out in the open. "Hey, you!" she whispered to Tzanif. ((have they been introduced yet? I forgot.)) ((Maybe Tzanif's clan are good ninjas, but he just isn't. XD))

Tzanif glanced over his shoulder and raised his hand. Slowly lowering it, he hoped to tell the other Kamen to keep it low. He had noticed them come up behind him, but he hadn't expected them to talk. Not many would speak with the Meganus presence so close - who could know what satanic whim might cross the mind of a Meganus. No sane person would desire that kind of attention to be drawn to himself. Peeking around the doorway, Tzanif made a quick check to see that no mechanical lizards were within hearing range. Only after securing their position did Tzanif turn to face the two Kamen. Whispering to them, he asked, "Why are you following me? A group of Kamen, even just three, can arouse more superstition than I would want." It was true. It was natural that a Meganus would be more suspicious of a group of Kamen. The less organized the conquered are, the better for the victor it is. After all, they were the blood slaves to a tyrant. They all wanted to escape! The Meganus were antsy for a reason.

"He's right.", whispered Erin, "What are you doing, uhh..", Erin stared blankly at Wen. He had momentarily forgotten her name. His memory for people wan't very good =P "He's obviously trying to sneak around.", he continued, hoping she wouldn't notice. Suddenly, a small screw fell to the ground with a clink, and was quickly picked up again by Erin. "Sorreee", he said with a guilty look, "I hope that didn't attract anyone.." The fall of the screw was bearly heard by anyone besides them... afterall, small noises seem huge when you are trying to be silent.

'Sorry about that', continued Erin, 'Ive been colecting little bits and pieces... Thought they might eventually come in handy.'
Lady Aganarath's chamber was just up the hall, away from the doors the stood in front of. Erin knew he needed to be getting back there, but he knew it would be dangerous for Wen and Tzanif to go that way. 'You should go down the other hall. You'll find a room full of weapons down there. They had me fix a safty mechanism on a door near there... You might find something useful.', Erin whispered. Then turned and started walking away. He stopped. 'I didn't get your name... uh..', Erin spoke, waiting for the kamen in red to finish his sentence.

Cringing faintly as the screw rolled, Tzanif took another quick survey of their bearings and then he relaxed. The Meganus were too intent upon the scene in the arena to notice them. At least, none were coming toward them at that moment.
Tzanif listened passively to the Kamen child as he spoke; Erin had good sense about him. It was admirable for him to keep his wits in a place like this. A talkative little thing, though. Tzanif needed to move away, - he had stayed too long as it was.
In parting, he answered Erin's address, "Tzanif... and thank you." Shifting his gaze to Wen, he said, "Have you no service to attend to?"
It was not a question.
With that, Tzanif slipped out the door and immediately lept up onto the closest support beam. He knew exactly where he was now, and the lattice framework gave him the perfect advantage. Jumping from beam to beam, Tzanif made his way to the top of the stadium using the wood beams that supported it. Here he was, a Kamen gladiator, climbing through the woodwork beneath thousands of blood-lusting Meganus.

((whooo~ blood-lust =D))
Meanwhile...
Efir looked around suddenly! He was alone again. Donaugh had gone to sleep in a corner, Wen had been forcefully taken back to work, outside of the cell, and Tzanif... "Wait!", He thought, "Where is he? He's not here!" He thought through the conversation they had had, Oinone entering and chalenging Tzanif, the guard entering after Wen- "AHA!", he exclaimed in his mind, "Tzanif must have gotten out! But now what? Where could he possibly go?!"
Efir had been brought on a ship, same as the others, in the docking bay of the arena. He wasn't sure there was another way in or out, but he did know that if there was a "gate" somewhere, it would be on the ground floor. And it would be guarded. Heavily. And then he thought "The docking bay! If we where to get to a ship or something! Maybe we could get out of here!" Efir then resolved that, if Tzanif could get out, he could do it too. All he needed was the right distraction!
((I don't expect them to actually get out with a ship... but if they did somehow manage to, they would probably get caught and taken back. If Efir manages to get out of the cell, he will probably get in deep trouble. He is a heavy step, and in no way good at sneaking around.))

(( Blood-lust means what I think it means, right? o-O You've got me nervous, now; I always seem to say the wrong things >< ))
Tzanif slipped quietly up to the higher level of the stadium and moved toward the benches. Peering from underneath one of the wooden structures, he could just barely see the ongoing fight below. Above his head, a mechanical Meganus roared his approval as one gladiator drew blood from a wild beast.
Slinking farther back into the lattice, Tzanif maneuvered until he found a way to climb onto the roof of the tunnel he originally came out of. He took a quick survey and then climbed down to the ground beside the archway. Only now, Tzanif was above the tunnel.
He lay flat against the wall of the stadium, staring out before him at the sparse green field. Tracing the ground with his eyes, Tzanif outlined the underground tunnels by memory. He measured about the distance he thought the Kamen's communal cell was. About thirty paces forward, another fifteen west. It was quite deep, but then again he didn't know how high the ceiling to the holding cell was. It had been dark, and he couldn't see the top of the cell. Perhaps... if he could find out what type of security system they used and the time the patrol switched...
Different circumstances raced through his mind, but even more possibilities for failure popped up. Tzanif would need much more information.
He grinned to himself, wondering if the Meganus could possibly spare a guard. So, that was it. Tzanif slipped back into the lattice work, worming his way to find a lone solider.
