Kern kept the horses at a steady pace still, only slowing slighty to be safe in the forest. He kept pressing on until they came to a good sized meadow a while away from the road. Not far enough to get lost, but far enough that their fire and other signs of themselves were hidden. --- Ella heard them stop and fear dripped into her mind, wondering what was going to happen to her.

Ben saw light up ahead, so he stopped, and waited. Eventually, he tied Baylor to a tree, and crept forward so as to watch what was happening. Ellanore would probably need to change her clothes soon, and if allowed to do so in privacy, perhaps he could kidnap her back as she went behind a tree.

Kern had to think for a moment how he was going to have the girl change. She would want to in privacy, but he had a feeling he couldn't afford to let her go somewhere unwatched. He thought for a moment then had an idea. He grabbed four tall sticks and stuck them into the ground. Then tied a string around them to make a clothesline like thing and then he put blankets on all four sides. That done he nodded to Ellanore to go change in the new 'room' and handed her a bundle of clothes. --- Ella sighed, her last chance of escaping almost fully gone. She went into the makeshift room and started to change, having major difficulties undoing the back of her dress. Once that was off she started to put the other clothes on. She noticed that they were boy's clothes, she wondered how idiotic the men were to put boy's clothing on a girl. That was almost as noticable as wearing her ball gown.

Ben sighed, leaning against the tree. He would just have to wait for help to come or for another chance. He eventually became tired, and dosed at the trunk of the tree, hidden in the grass. ((writer's block))

Ella came out of the dressing room and then was immeadiatly grabbed by a man with a knife. "LET GO OF ME!" she exclaimed, wondering what he was going to do with the knife. Then another man grabbed her to hold her still and the man with the knife started to cut off her hair. At first she was horrified, then she was relieved that that was the only thing they were cutting off. ---- Kern stood to the side as he watched the men cut off the girl's hair. This would almost fully disguise her so they were less likely to get caught. He wondered where his partner ran off too, for it was long past the time of their appointed meeting in the meadow.

"Look what I found, Kern!" A gruff man hobbled from the trees, dragging Ben by the ankles behind him, "It looks like a young suitor playing hero to me," He looked the boy up and down before removing the gag from his mouth. Ben began to fight, kicking and yelling words they could not clearly understand. He climbed to his feet, only to get knocked over again. "Whiney brat, he is, -do you think his family would be wanting him back?" ((his name is Brian))

Kern laughed at the site of the man, "nay. From all the yelling that I do understand, I don't think his family would even claim him to be theirs. He is most likely a drunk. Throw him out, for in the morn all of this will be like a strange dream. Unless you think we should do something else to him Brian." ---- Ella's eyes went wide with fear for Ben, but the men cutting her hair thought it was for her herself more than anything. 'Please just let them leave you... I'm planing on leaving my own marks behind in helping you find me.'

"Hm, those are some lovely clothes there..." Brian pondered for a moment, and then knelt beside Ben, removing a sack from his belt, "Have a drink!" He laughed as he forced a gulp of wine into Ben's mouth and then banged him hard in the back of the head with his gauntlet. The boy sprawled forward, spitting wine and very dizzy. He lay still within a few moments. "Where shall we put our little friend?" He asked Kern.

Kern smiled, "hmmm. I say, hang him by the road in a tree. Maybe he'll wake with a start, fall, and break his neck. Stupid boy..." --- Drina watched all of the this with fear for Ben. She really wished he had chosen to not to try and help her. If he hadn't, he'd be safe.

((I'll bet she's glad to know that people are looking for her, though.)) The big man nodded and heaved the boy over his shoulder. He walked out in the oposite direction from the one they had come from so as not to attract attention to the path. He came back empty-handed, and passed Kern, "The boy must have a horse tied nearby..." he muttered. Brian did not come back for a long time, though. The men began to wonder what had happened to him.

Ella looked around, finding that all eyes were off of her for a moment started to scoop hair to help lead her rescuers to her. She made sure to leave plenty on the ground so as to make sure that the men didn't notice any missing. She had also torn pieces of her gown that the men wouldn't notice and hid them for more markings. She wasn't about to be led off empty handed. ---- Kern saw her picking up a strand of hair, he was at first startled then decided that she must want a keep sake and went on waiting for Brian. He knew he should have been back by now, so he wondered where the heck he was. ((Kay said she might join this soon... maybe as another bad boy...))

But Brian did not come back. " 'e'll be back soonah or latah. Let's jus' be gett'n sahme sleep so we can be leav'in sooah in the morn." One of the men told Kern, "yaknow Briahn, -'e's likelah ta be distracted witha quick raid. Ah'll be bed'n down for the naht, as we all should," He could tell Kern was getting impatient with the missing man, but Brian was known for wandering off to commit a few petty thefts. -without Kern's consent, usually.

Kern nodded then looked at Ellanore for a moment, then he sighed. "We're going to have to figure out who has to do the gaurd shift for both the girl, and people looking for us." ---- Ella sighed, 'so much for escaping.' She wondered if she could find a way to get out... any possible way that she could escape.

"Wahll, Ah'll be ge'in ta bed soon. If ya want, wake me up early and Ah'll do tha watch while the rest of ya are still get'n some sleep." The man replied. --- Ignis awoke blindfolded. Pulling it down, he saw that he was sitting against the wall in the stall of the stable, his head ached. Wondering what had happened, he noticed that his wrists and ankles were bound, -not so tightly that he couldn't undo them if he worked at it, for she who had done this had wanted him to get out once he woke up. He removed his bounds, stood, and exited, keeping his eyes downcast, "Rachel, Rachel?" She was not here. Ignis turned to the horse he had spent some of the night with, -the nervous one he had ridden last, "I suspect that I saw the torches as they gathered a search party... I gave you a fright, did some fighting, fell off, bumped my head, and then that sweet maid helped them tie me up and throw me in here with you in their hurry?" The horse did not answer. They never answered. Dumb beasts. "Just as well; you were a poor choice for a chase anyway. Ben is likely to be very angry with me now. I wonder if the men were caught... We should go out and do some scouting, you and I," He brought the horse from the stall and tacked him properly, -puting the saddle on with great effort. ((poor dear)) Ignis knew that Ben would have come looking for him if he were back, and Ignis was hard to overlook where he had been. So his friend was still out looking for the theives... or with them. Ignis slid a dagger into his belt, only to notice what he was wearing. "Oh, well that will not work. He stripped down shamelessly then went and found his old clothes. Once ready, he and his mount left the stable, heading in the direction he had seen Ben leaving in earlier that night.

Kern nodded, and immeadiatly ordered two men for watch. He set up two hour shifts, making him have the one in the middle, which for some reason was always the worst of the shifts. This was so his men could get proper sleep. He made sure that the girl was tied securely to a tree so she couldn't escape. With that done he went to sleep. ---- Ella sighed, knowing that somehow they kept finding ways to ruin her plans that were in the making. She tried her bonds, but to no avail, they were snug and she wasn't going to be able to get off the tree anytime soon. She sighed, and contented herself to rest a little, knowing that would help her when the need and time aroused for her escape. ---- Ellanore's father was distraught. To think that the party went so badly, and then his daughter... kidnapped. He sent men out searching for her, but to no avail. It seemed no one noticed them leave with her in the dark of the night when the lights went out. He just hoped that someone found her soon...... before it was too late.

Ignis wandered about in the dark, keeping his horse walking on the path as it became gradually lighter out. The jumpy horse began showing signs of nervousness, dancing around, and his rider did a doubletake. There was a broad man laying someway down a narrow hunter's path. Ignis had almost missed it. He carefully moved his horse in the man's direction. From the looks of things, curious young Baylor had managed to kill the man. He was obviously a theif from his attire and bad smell, but the boy paid more attention to the hat the dead man had laying beside him. Ben was here... or had been. While it was still somewhat dark, Ignis moved down the path for a long while until the clearing came within sight. Kern was on duty now, but no Ben and Ellanore. Wait, but who was the lad they had tied to the tree? Ah, clever villians. He was used to seeing Ella dressed as a young man; t'was the lack of most of her hair that confused him at first. Still... where had Ben gone? ---- Ben did not even open his eyes; he merely yawned and stretched, only to suddenly find himself falling. The boy reached out, grabbing a branch, and held on tightly. Looking down, he noticed two things; he was not hanging very far from the ground at all, and he had been stripped on his tunic. It took him a bit of time to remember what had happened, and even when he had, he still could not come up with an explanation as to why he was hanging from a tree, in his undergarments. Now that his eyes had adjusted better, he noticed quite a few sharp sticks stuck in the ground where he would have fallen. Oh, my, that would have looked lovely... But if he lowered himself down slowly and hopped carefully, he could miss them. Ben was proud of how bright he was... But as he landed, his foot knocked against a stone, and he yelled, probably getting Kern's attention. ((XD))

Ella looked around, for she had heard what sounded like Ben screaming. She looked at Kern to make sure that he hadn't heard and then her heart dropped when she saw him waking another man to go check out the noise while he stayed and kept up the watch. She sighed, wondering if she would ever get the chance to run away. ------ Kern had just woken up one of his men to go in search of the noise. It was the man's choice, for Kern just wanted to him to keep the watch while he went in search. He sighed and looked over at Ella who was now awake. He chuckled, "you won't be getting loose anytime soon. We'll be on our way tomorrow for our hideout. By the time your find there won't be much left." He grinned evily, although it'd be awhile before they would even think of killing her. And they would most likely not do that.

Ben hid behind the tree, waiting for someone to come (knowing they would). He had a good-sized limb in his hands, and he brandished it like a sword. They had made him very angry, and he hated looking like a fool in front of anyone; -even himself. This was not a pleasant awakening for Ben, and he was going to hurt someone because of it! (or at least try to) --- Ignis remained hidden and began thinking of a plan. He had also heard Ben's yell. If only the distraction had been great enough...

Kern kept looking around, mainly keeping his eye on Ellanore so that there wouldn't be any way that she could be taken from under his nose. ---- One of the men started walking, holding out his knife as he slowly walked forward. He spotted Ben and ran at him ready to stab him. ---- Ella once again tried to get the knots in the rope loosened. It was all in vain though, as she kept pulling and trying her hardest. She wondered if there was anyway that Ben could defeat the guy and come save her. She crossed that idea out of her mind, having a feeling that Ben wasn't stupid enough to try and take on so many men.

((Ignis: Oh, but he is! Kendi: Two fools are better than one! Ben: ...)) ((*cough* Ben was hiding, but that's okay, whatever)) Ben swung his makeshift weapon, catching the still groggy attacker somewhat off guard and whacking him hard in the chest. --- Ignis sighed, somewhat disappointed with himself at his lack of ideas. He would just need to wait until Ben did something else. The situation could almost be found humorous; Ben did not know that he had help just on the other side of the enemy. -they had Kern surrounded... almost surrounded... in a sense. This could be used to their advantage....
