As the new kid, Flynn, walked by to go get his books, Desiree smelled a familiar smell. The smell of a wolf. Immediately she watched as the boy left the room. Crossing her legs, she started thinking to herself. He can't be a wolf can he? Why would another wolf be here anyway?
Class started back up after Flynn had left. Desiree was curious as to how the secretary felt about him. She wasn't one of the nicest people in the school, but a lot of students try to stay on her good side. It was hard enough for herself even to do it, though there were times that the woman actually seemed to have a descent conversation with her.

"Nobody?" asked James Nuit.
He figured at least somebody would know the answer. One student had left to retrieve his books, his host teacher had interrupted, and now no one was going to answer his question. It was time for a demonstration.
"Okay," he began, "We're going to do this final-jeopardy style. I want all of you to write down what you think that meeting was called on a sheet of paper and pass it to the front. And before you complain, yes, I can do this, it's called a pop quiz, and yes, you do have to do it."
Well. Jamie Nuit had never been that straightforward or blunt before; it was refreshing for anyone who knew him. Any strangers to his presence, however, would most likely be confused. Which is what relished, in some strange, mystical way.
